Do you struggle to make the logos in your mind a reality?
Do you have the perfect vision in your brain, but when you try to execute it, it ends in frustration?
Do your logo designs look “cheesy” or, even worse, unremarkable?
And when you try to hire a logo designer, do they always seem to be off the mark? Do you get the sneaking suspicion that they copied and pasted some clip art and randomly picked a font from the drop-down menu? You may even find the logo that they deliver is the exact same as another client in their portfolio.
Imagine if you could design a logo for yourself. A crisp, clean logo that portrays the values of your company, in a unique and memorable way. A logo that attracts target customers to your business like bears to a honeypot, and keeps them coming back.
The problem is, the true process behind designing a logo looks nothing like what you would expect.
What you expect is to be able to sit down and crank out a logo. If you’ve ever tried that, you know it doesn’t work.
In reality, it takes some exploration. You need to explore the visual vocabulary through which you can communicate what your company is about. How can you portray those values through shapes, colors, textures, and even typeface? And does your interpretation of that visual vocabulary mean the same to you as it does to your target customer?
Then, you need to keep your logo out of the “uncanny valley.” Too abstract, and it will be devoid of meaning. Too literal, and it will look cheap and amateurish.
Finally, you need to be able to technically execute your vision with your drawing tools.
At points, logo design can be like hacking through a jungle with a machete. It seems you’ll never reach your destination, and you want to turn back. But with the proper guide, you can make your vision a reality. You can finally hit that logo design that makes you think “YES! That’s what I’ve been looking for!”
Logo Mastery is here to guide you on this journey. Through four weeks of self-guided videos, you’ll explore and define what makes the perfect logo for your business, and finally turn that vision in your head into reality.
